This Paper examines the cultural impact on the choice of entry mode strategies and it tries to relate it with the Bangladeshi market context. The journal stresses the view that cultural differences must be considered when making entry mode decisions. The evidence gained from an analysis of case studies are presented in this paper. It is observed that cultural differences have major effects on the decision-making process of Bangladeshi operations at a strategic level. It is also observed that because of cultural uniqueness companies prefer the joint venture strategy before entering Bangladeshi market over other market entry strategies. It also indicates that a uniform process of entry mode stages, as suggested in the literature on entry options, may not be suitable.
